Amira's Moroccan Meatballs (Kefta Tajine)
Meatballs:
- Ground beef
- Diced onion
- A cap full of cumin
- A lot of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cap fulls of paprika
- Thinly cut cilantro and parsley
- Dash of cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon harissa paste
- Dash of turmeric
Sauce:
- 3 diced tomatoes for single serving
- 5-7 diced tomatoes if serving a group
- Olive oil
- Diced onion
- A cap full of cumin
- A lot of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cap fulls of paprika
- Thinly cut cilantro and parsley
- Dash of cinnamon
- Tablespoon of harissa paste
- Dash of turmeric
Sauce:
In a pot add olive oil, diced onion, spices, and tomatoes, let simmer until tomatoes are mushy/ falling apart and cooked down
Cook:
Roll the meatballs about a teaspoon size, can go up to tablespoon just try to keep them consistent
Simmer and stir occasionally until meatballs are cooked, usually around 10-15 minutes
