Amira's Moroccan Meatballs (Kefta Tajine)
Ingredients
Meatballs:
Ground beef
Diced onion
A cap full of cumin
A lot of black pepper

teaspoon
salt
2
cap fulls of paprika
Thinly cut cilantro and parsley
Dash of cinnamon

Tablespoon
harissa paste
Dash of turmeric
Sauce:
3
diced tomatoes for single serving
5-7
diced tomatoes if serving a group
Olive oil
Diced onion
A cap full of cumin
A lot of black pepper

Tablespoon
of harissa paste
Dash of turmeric
Instructions
For the meatballs
Mix all ingredients together
Let sit for a half hour
Sauce:
In a pot add olive oil, diced onion, spices, and tomatoes, let simmer until tomatoes are mushy/ falling apart and cooked down
Cook:
Roll the meatballs about a teaspoon size, can go up to tablespoon just try to keep them consistent
Simmer and stir occasionally until meatballs are cooked, usually around 10-15 minutes
