- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine melted
- 1½-2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp vanilla
- Add and heat ingredients together in order listed (use the smaller amount of flour for the thinner pizzelle)
- Drop by rounded spoonful onto center of pre-heated grid.
- Close lid and clip closed.
- Cook until steaming stops, about 60 seconds.
- Remove with fork and lay on towel until cool.
Note: Cookies can be rolled while hot.
