Ice Cream in a Bag
- 1 sandwich size ziplock bag
- 1 gallon size ziplock bag
- 1 tbsp. granulated sugar
- ½ c. half-and-half or milk
- ¼ tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp rock salt
- ice
- Toppings of your choice
In a small resealable plastic bag, combine half-and-half, sugar, and vanilla. Push out excess air and seal.
Into a large resealable plastic bag, combine enough ice to fill bag 3/4 full with salt. Place small bag inside the bigger bag and shake vigorously, 15-20 minutes, until ice cream has hardened.
Remove from bag and enjoy with your favorite ice cream toppings.
