Chicken Noodle Soup
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion chopped
- 2 carrots peeled and chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 rib celery chopped
- 7 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 4 cups chopped cooked chicken meat
- 1 package egg noodles
- ½ teaspoon dried basil
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- salt to tast
- 1 pinch thyme
- 1 pinch poultry seasoning
In a large stock pot, saute veggies and garlic in butter or margarine.
Add chicken, broth, and spices. Simmer for 30 minutes.
In a separate pot, cook egg noodles.
Dish cooked egg noodles and soup into bowls to serve.
