Apple Walnut Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups apples chopped, unpeeled
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350. Grease (but don't flour) 10-12 cup bundt pan.
  • Mix sugar, flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl until blended. Stir in oil, eggs, and vanilla then apples & nuts.
  • Bake 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 min in pan on wire rack before inverting on rack to cool completely.
